This started as a technical proof of concept.  I had a lot of fun making it and people seem to like where it's going, so I'm going to keep working on it until the story is done.
I'm interested in using video to tell stories. I started this while I was recovering from burnout on another project.  After this is done I'll probably do another one like it with better video quality, and maybe music and voice acting, etc.
You play as Dr. Elena Reeves, a xenobiologist at a desert research facility that studies tentacled creatures pulled through rifts from somewhere else. What begins as an ordinary morning — coffee with her husband, the long drive out to the institute — escalates when one of the specimens starts trying to communicate. Over three days, the story follows Elena through her work, her marriage, and the creeping realization that something inside the containment wing has noticed her back.
