StashlyVN ("we", "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
2.1 Automatically (server logs)
- IP address (truncated for analytics, full IP retained 30 days for abuse prevention)
- User-Agent string (browser/OS identification)
- Referrer URL
- Pages visited and timestamps
2.2 Local-only (your browser, never sent to our servers)

2.3 Anonymous interactions (DB)
- Game ratings (like/dislike): stored as a one-way hash of IP+User-Agent ("fingerprint"). No reverse identification possible.
- Follow status on games: same fingerprint approach.
- Comments: include only the name you choose to provide and your message text.
2.4 Advertising partners
If ads are enabled, our adult-content ad network ExoClick may set its own cookies and collect data per ExoClick's Privacy Policy. We do not directly share user data with advertisers beyond what their script collects browser-side.
3. What we don't collect
- We do not require account creation.
- We do not require email addresses.
- We do not run third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel).
- We do not sell or share personal data with brokers.
- We do not fingerprint your device beyond the per-session IP+UA hash described above.
4. Why we collect (legal bases under GDPR Art. 6)
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): server logs for abuse prevention, IT security, basic operations.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): non-essential cookies (advertising) — requested via banner on first visit.
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): when a developer signs up for paid featured placement.
5. Data retention
- Server logs: 30 days, then auto-rotated and deleted.
- Fingerprint-hashed ratings/follows/comments: retained as long as content stays public.
- localStorage entries: until you clear browser data.
6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / similar)
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Object / restrict processing — limit how we use your data.
- Withdraw consent for cookies/advertising at any time (clear browser data or revoke in banner).
- Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (in Spain: AEPD).

7. Cookies
Essential (always on): age-gate, wishlist, consent state — all stored in browser localStorage, never transmitted.
Non-essential (consent-required): advertising network cookies (ExoClick), only set after you accept the cookie banner.
8. International transfers
Our server is located in Helsinki, Finland (EU). Our advertising partner ExoClick operates from Spain (EU). Data does not leave the EU under standard operation. Our AI content provider (Anthropic, USA) processes only public game metadata, never user data.
9. Children
This site is strictly for adults (18+). An age-gate is presented on first visit. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has accessed the site, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be announced via a site banner for 14 days.
