Pac-8 Museum is Hex Dev's cheeky riff on the classic arcade formula, transplanting Minus8's NSFW character designs into a Pac-Man-inspired maze game. The core loop remains familiar: navigate cramped corridors, collect dots, avoid (or hunt) ghosts. What sets it apart is the deliberate lewdness—both in character art and the reward structure that activates when you snag a power pellet and turn the tables on your pursuers.

Built in Unity, the game presents its action from a first-person perspective, a departure from the bird's-eye Pac-Man template that adds immediacy to maze navigation. You'll move with WASD, look around with your mouse, and use spacebar to jump—controls that feel responsive enough for the early-access 0.5.0a build. The character roster includes iconic Pac-Man mazes reimagined with the game's new addition, Clyde, rounding out the ghost cast. Dot-collection remains the objective, but the intimate reward animations (triggered via left-click after capturing a pacified ghost) provide the adult incentive that defines the experience.

Hex Dev frames this as an ongoing project, with roadmap items including new level layouts, character costumes, and dialogue interactions still to come.
