Another Dimension, developed solo by KuroVN, positions itself as a fantasy/sci-fi survival story with a twist: the world you're trapped in offers far more temptation than danger. You awaken in an unfamiliar dimension populated by mermaids, werewolves, orcs, and anthropomorphic creatures, tasked with either escaping home or surrendering to the pleasures available—a premise that leans heavily into player agency and romantic choice.

The game's standout feature is its comprehensive gender customization system. Rather than locking you into a single experience, you select your pronouns, preferred body type, and the genders of NPCs you'll romance. Crucially, KuroVN has implemented preference options for sexual positioning (passive, active, or versatile), with intimate scenes tailored to each combination. This level of granularity is uncommon in adult VNs and speaks to an intentional design philosophy around inclusive player representation. The current demo provides only a fraction of the planned content; the full release aims to center romance routes for key NPCs, complete with character development and explicit scenes.

Storywise, expect a blend of adventure and erotic content. The world encourages exploration and conflict, though the balance between plot and adult scenes remains to be seen in later updates. KuroVN acknowledges that many character sprites are currently AI-generated placeholders being gradually replaced by hand-made designs—a transparent approach to ongoing development.
