Astra: Ardent Show, developed by Lustrationteam, tells the story of a fox princess who abandons her castle, her title, and an arranged marriage to forge a new life as a traveling performer on a remote island. It's a premise built on agency and self-determination—Astra rejects the predetermined path laid out for her, and the game asks what happens when the kingdom comes looking for its missing heir.

The visual novel is choice-driven, meaning your decisions shape which relationships develop, which conflicts escalate, and ultimately how Astra's story concludes. You'll encounter a diverse cast of characters across multiple species—foxes, horses, tigers, wolves, and humans—each with their own stakes in Astra's rebellion. Combat mechanics and text-based mini-games supplement the branching narrative, though the combat system is still in active development. The experience is anchored in hand-drawn artwork and includes animated intimate moments.

Adult content is central to the experience: the game features explicit sex animations, customizable character genitals (furry or human-style), and scenes woven into the emotional and political tensions of the story rather than separated from them. Lustrationteam positions these moments as part of Astra's reclamation of bodily autonomy. The demo (version 0.2.3) gives a substantial sample of the full game, which is available on Steam.
