Saria Reclaimed is Velminth's ambitious fusion of card-game mechanics and adult narrative progression, built around a premise that treats failure not as game-over but as narrative consequence. You play Saria, a wandering samurai navigating Cardinal's Heart and its surrounding desert wasteland, where each battle presents a dual choice: fight with honor or surrender to corruption. The core mechanic ties directly to your character's moral state—as Saria's purity erodes, both her available actions and the way enemies interact with her fundamentally shift.

The deck-building system forms the skeleton of combat encounters. You'll construct strategies using available cards while managing Saria's corruption meter, which unlocks new, increasingly explicit cards and interactions as it rises. Velminth has woven the adult content directly into game balance rather than treating it as window dressing; enemies respond differently to a corrupted Saria than a pure one, creating emergent tactical scenarios where seduction becomes a valid (and sometimes advantageous) strategy alongside direct combat.
