Built on Twine's Sugarcube engine by SSWorldMaker, the game eschews traditional failure states—there are no game overs or dead ends, only narrative branches that reflect your choices. This design philosophy encourages experimentation across multiple playthroughs without penalty.

The mechanical backbone extends beyond dialogue trees. You'll manage character statistics, navigate a wardrobe system, and customize the protagonist's appearance through an extensive hair customization interface. Quest tracking, an item shop, and clothing vendors provide structure between story moments.
